Privacy policy

This is the website of Daksh Analytics and its media arm, Daksh Media. The short version: it does not collect your personal data. It has no cookies, no analytics, no forms and no accounts.

This site is operated by Daksh Analytics. Its media arm, Daksh Media, publishes the videos and runs the channels.

What this site collects

Nothing, directly. This is a static website: the pages are plain files that your browser downloads. There are no sign-ups, contact forms, comment boxes, newsletters or accounts, and the site does not ask you for any personal information.

Cookies and tracking

The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts, images and animations are served from this site, so your browser does not contact other companies while you read it.

Our web host

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare may record standard technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request, for security and to keep the service running. Cloudflare handles that information under its own privacy policy. Daksh Analytics does not receive or use it.

Our use of YouTube API Services

Daksh Analytics uses YouTube API Services to upload videos to, and read performance statistics of, its own YouTube channel (@dakshanalytics). We do not access, collect or store the YouTube data of any other person or channel through these services.

  • YouTube's terms apply to our use of the service: YouTube Terms of Service.
  • Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Access granted to our application can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page.
  • Authorization tokens and statistics obtained through YouTube API Services are kept on our own systems, used only to manage and measure our own channel, never sold or shared, and deleted within 30 days once access is revoked or we stop using the service.

The WhatsApp Channel

Daksh Analytics posts its daily videos to a WhatsApp Channel from a number used only for Daksh. The posting is automated. The channel only publishes: it never sends messages to individuals, groups or broadcast lists.

WhatsApp keeps your phone number hidden from channel admins and from other followers, so we cannot see who follows the channel, and other people cannot see which channels you follow. We see only totals, such as the number of followers and reactions. Channel posts are public. WhatsApp (Meta) handles everything you do in the channel under the WhatsApp Channels privacy policy, and keeps channel updates on its servers for up to 30 days.

If you message the Daksh number directly, we use your number and message only to reply, and we delete them on request.

Children

This site is meant for adults interested in the stock market. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Your data and your rights

Because this site does not collect or store personal data, there is nothing held here to access, correct or delete. We wrote this policy with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind. If you have a question about privacy, or want information about you deleted, email [email protected]. We reply within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
